Standing for 40 years now, the Redmond Treehouse is ready for restoration and reengineering to support it's next chapter in life. With a project plan and subject matter experts ready, the Treehouse is ready to become a useful space for the ecosystem and community.
"Bub's Lodge", also called the "Blodge" was once a horse barn then transformed into a small business and clubhouse headquarters. This space is best fit for events as it has sweeping views of the treehouse, pond and Cobbage. The interior consists of vaulted ceilings, large stone fireplaces and a bar (nearly completed).
The crawlspace and home’s electrical system are the biggest barriers to completion - the old horse barn lacked a concrete foundation and at water level with the pond and in risk flooding.
Renovating the entryway to eliminate potential water damage
Nonagon (9 sides) design with fireplace and wood fire cooking oven. Provides a larger eating area for 10-14 people. Great for small group events like boy/girl scouts, family cookout, and small wedding.
Outdoor kitchen upgrade
The upper bay has potential to be fully enclosed with canvas to create a second floor sleeping space.
Pending some windows and a new entryway, the barn is ideal for any type of event or reception! This rustic, open space contains vaulted ceilings, sliding barn doors and is fitted for additional lighting (disco ball dance party anyone?!) and heating.
